Information for Young Adults

BC Easter Seals Camps have been offering our Leaders-In-Transition (LIT) Programs since 2003 and now offer traditional Young Adult Camps.

LIT Wilderness Challenge
This program is suited for young adults who are interested in developing their leadership skills in:
independent problem-solving, team work and communication, goal setting, and outdoor skills. Participants should be prepared for multiple days of camping, paddling and hiking as part of this program. We are currently offering one week-long Challenge canoe trip departing from Camp Squamish.

LIT Camp Internship
This program is suited for young adults who are interested in developing their leadership skills in: communication and teamwork, working with people, personal development, and activity planning and leading. Participants will develop personal and team goals as well as lend their support and skills to our general camping program. Through this program, participants will build skills that will be transferable to their lives and home communities.

Young Adult Camp
This program is suited for young adults who are looking for a traditional summer camp experience. This program focuses on providing social and recreational opportunities for campers.

We are attempting to meet as many needs as possible for as many people as possible. Participants will only be eligible for one program per season.
